The chill of winters dawn, The waiting of the wind, The majesty of stars, That beckon all our kin. The power of the seas, Their wake that never sleeps. The dreams amidst the clouds, Which cause them all to weep. Their tears promise prosperity, To all who they can reach. Like words of life spoken softly, Inwardly to teach. So fertile are the young, Whose heads sway with the strife. And wise are the ancient, Whose lips christen with life. The beauty of this world, Hidden beneath our minds eye, The intensity of Nature, Who lives to never die.

These words are all I have,
I care more than they can say. But if my words cast only wounds, who am I to blame? These words are all I have, They stay true with every refrain. I never meant to hurt, I never meant for this. Two people lost in pain. These words are all I have, But where do answers lay? Confusion is a friendly foe, easily found, hard to sway. These words are all I have, as we stand and face our fate. Looking out across a crumbling bridge, Where love has found its hate. These words, these few words, Can they be enough? I try so hard, I cry so hard, Will it be enough? These words, these few words, alone they hold no weight. But these words, are my words, And with them is my stake. |
